Since I was 13 years old, I've been in the restaurant industry. I started in my grandfather’s restaurant & worked my way up to running one of the most successful restaurants in NYC - Patsy’s Italian Restaurant. My grandfather worked his way up in the restaurant industry in the 1930's and '40s and in 1942 opened his first Italian restaurant, The Sorrento. When it came time to name our new restaurant, we decided on IL Sorrento in honor of my grandfather. I know my grandparents & my mom are smiling down on us with approval. I've lived in Westchester since 1984 & have always dreamed about opening an Italian restaurant here .. now the dream is a reality. My family & I believe that having a successful restaurant is a simple formula - give people what they want: Good Food, Good Service and Good Value. I had a wonderful time here for our Christmas dinner! The food was amazing, with each dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The service was quick and delightful, making our experience even better. I would give it a 10 out of 10 and will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Food was delicious, and have been there several times. Only draw back from my most recent visit was that I was seated in the front, and when new guests came in, there was a cold draft that kept interrupting my/ my party’s comfort. Fortunately enough, the electric grill in front of us helped, but I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that. Would definitely go back again.

Always a delicious meal! The dips and pita were fresh and creamy. The filet mignon kabobs and rice with dried cherries and pistachios was perfectly cooked and the rice was fragrant and tasty. Service is always excellent but not obtrusive
