Petit Trois Le Valley, the second outpost of Chef Ludo Lefebvre's beloved bistro, opened its doors in 2018 in Sherman Oaks. This larger location channels a lavish French Brasserie, with its marble bar, banquette lined dining room, and a Chef’s counter overlooking the open kitchen. The second dining room can be reserved for larger parties and private events. Since opening, Petit Trois has garnered praise from casual foodies and revered food critics. In 2015, Petit Trois was nominated for Best New Restaurant by the James Beard Foundation and in 2019 earned the Bib Gourmand designation upon the Michelin Guide’s return to Los Angeles. Peter was the best waiter ever! Food excellent, albeit pricey, but we knew that when we went there. We didn't have to wait with our 7:30 reservations. Web site said corkage fee was $15 and they charged us $20.

Dinner was delightful. The beet salad was amazing ( and I usually don’t like beets). The mushroom paprikas was so delicious and rich. The pasta was homemade and cooked to perfection (Al dente of course) Highly recommend everything on the menu.

It’s was a great time, but our table grill was not working and we only had a 90min time period. Other than waiting over 30 for someone to fix it, we have an excellent experience. Side note the 5pm staff killed it!
