Located at 5520 Burnet Rd. (Ste. 100), The Peached Tortilla specializes in Asian comfort food with a Southern twist. While the restaurant has brought some of the trucks’ street food favorites to the restaurant including its famous tacos and JapaJam burger, it boasts a number of new menu items influenced by Chef Eric Silverstein's childhood growing up in Asia. Highlights include the Southern Fun (stir fried wide rice noodles with brisket, kale, onions and herbs), Dan Dan Noodles and the Malaysian Laksa bowl. This was the first time for my husband and I to try. Wasn’t sure after mixed reviews. We were pleasantly surprised. My hubby had the fried chicken plate w/mashed potatoes, biscuit and coleslaw. The biscuit was cool so they brought us another one, no big deal. I had the spaghetti pecorino. It was delicious! Overall we really enjoyed the food and ambiance.

The food was outstanding! We had a hard time deciding between all of the delicious looking options but decided on the charred Brussels, the Thai salad, the Dandan noodles and the Southern fun. Every single thing was delicious. We will be back!

Chez Zee was lovely as usual. It’s Christmas time and it is decorated for Christmas. Great ambiance. Lots of twinkle lights. I love it. The service was excellent. The food is delicious. I went for dinner and had the jalapeno stuffed chicken. Yummy. They have a large menu with a variety of food. I do recommend Chez Zee. They do a fantastic brunch too.
