The Woollen Mills has been one of the most iconic buildings and businesses in Dublin for over one hundred years, and to have taken over this site is a serious privilege. Much like our award-winning sister restaurant next door, The Winding Stair, we feel like we are custodians of something very special... a piece of history (James Joyce worked here, how unbelievable is that?!) and we must do it proud! Spanning over four floors and with a glorious roof terrace overlooking the River Liffey. The Woollen Mills is quintessentially Irish, local and of its locale. We want it to be an 'Eating House', a house of food, a place to grab a coffee and bun, a plate of Irish fish and chips, a place to score a casual bite befre the nearby theatres and cinemas or sit with seven courses of Irish antipasti, burrata, crab, lamb or cauliflower steak, overlooking the Ha'penny Bridge with a fine bottle of red or a craft beer. Absolutely delicious food, the steaks, the sides the sauces the desserts all top class. The staff were friendly and super efficient The atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely.

One of the best steaks I’ve ever had, hands down the best value for money you will find in Dublin. 30€ 3 course meal left absolutely stuffed! Unlimited chips as well and garlic bread, staff were beyond lovely and so helpful, accommodating as well. Food came so quick, was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I cannot stress this enough, please go to try this place I promise you won’t be disappointed. Will definitely be going there again!

I always have such a lovely time here. There was a wedding scheduled for this evening and whilst I don’t know how it went, it certainly is a beautiful choice of venue.
