Ilan Cohen is a self-taught chef who began his career in Jerusalem, Israel more than 20 years ago. Along with his wife Lauren they opened Falafel Bistro & Wine Bar in 2007, DVASH’s sister location, and has been serving authentic-Israeli cuisine to the South Florida community for more than a decade. First time diner. Awesome Selections. Sat outside on the deck. Food was good. Waiter was clueless. Didn’t refill our coffees , And when he did, he only had a half pot. Never came back to top it off. Had to ask for salt n pepper.

Service was incredibly slow but the wait staff seemed pleasant. Drinks took forever to make it to our table from the bar on both rounds of beverages that we ordered. I happened to arrive on ladies night and was told drinks were two for one until 8pm but after receiving the bill I was charged full price for both drinks. The restaurant is really nicely decorated and seemed to have a good vibe but due to the poor service, and mind you they were not busy when we arrived at 6:30 pm, I doubt I will return to this establishment.
