Steuben’s is named after a restaurant in Boston that my Great Uncles, Max and Joe, opened in 1945. Steuben's became a famous Boston restaurant, nightclub, and hotspot from the 1940’s to the 1960’s on Boylston Street. The Vienna Room, The Cave, and The Blue Room were all part of the Steuben's space and hosted Big Band, Jazz, and Swing groups with The Rat Pack, proms and sweet sixteens, and more. Christmas Eve pre-fix dinner was a delight for a family with some food sensitivities and varied palates. We ordered almost all of the special menu options, all of which were sumptuous with rich and mild spice (the duck confit) and comforting (the scallop risotto), with wines that paired beautifully and dessert that gave a seasonal touch to our truly special dinner. Duo is a neighborhood gem!

Great food and service as always. We really appreciated the staff taking food restrictions (allergy) seriously too - you can’t always tell what’s in a dish based on the description and their extra effort to check full ingredient lists and swap out sauces was 💜. Thanks and we’ll continue to come back.
