Galvin Bistrot & Bar is inspired by the Galvin brothers' passion for French bistrots and bars à vins.Situated in Spital Square next door to their Michelin-starred Galvin La Chapelle, the bistrot and wine bar serves modern classic dishes and charcuterie artisanale in a relaxed setting. Chris & Jeff Galvin have written a short menu of carefully sourced ingredients that is market driven and championing small growers. Only a short walk from Liverpool Street Station, Cinnamon Kitchen serves innovative, modern Indian cuisine inspired by the same ethos as its Westminster counterpart but in a more relaxed and informal setting. Chef Vivek Singh and Chef Raju Ramachandran have created an exciting Indian food menu that highlight seasonal ingredients that are sustainably sourced and come together in a trademark relaxed all-day dining concept. The restaurant features a bar and a smaller dining dining room for private dining and events, a grill that is fired up to bring you some of our kitchen favourites and an alfresco terrace that makes it possible to dine under the skies regardless of London weather. Poppies in Hanbury Street was Pop’s first restaurant and the one where the journey began. The retro-diner and takeaway is close to Pop’s heart as it brought 70year old Pat out of retirement. We had a delicious curry here on sat eve. The staff were attentive and friendly. The food is a more limited choice but very delicious and interesting choices. I had a wonderful vegetarian option with Padron peppers, potato, paneer, cauliflower and spinach! .It was great to be able to chat and hear each other- it’s a big space- but a relaxed environment and so close to Liverpool Street! We will be back!
