When we returned for a birthday dinner, we were surprised to find that it was a loud, happening place, not at all romantic. However, the food was excellent (we had the whole fried fish and short-rib pappardelle entrees), as was the service. The menu is more limited than it was pre-pandemic but everything on the menu is prepared perfectly. It has been a neighborhood restaurant for my family for many years.
