Petit Trois Le Valley, the second outpost of Chef Ludo Lefebvre's beloved bistro, opened its doors in 2018 in Sherman Oaks. Casa Vega, in Sherman Oaks, opened its doors in 1956 and has been serving the people of Southern California ever since. Local residents, and even celebrities, have flocked to the family-run Mexican restaurant currently run by Christy Vega Fowler, daughter of original owner, Rafael Vega. We have always enjoyed coming to the Front Yard. The menu is unique, in both food and drink, the service is always wonderful, and the food delicious. Our only comment for this meal was that the charcuterie board was pretty sparse for $24. Didn't feel like the value equaled the price, while the other shareables and entrees were closer matched quantity/quality to cost.

This was FANTASTIC! We went for the special Hanukkah prix fixe dinner featuring Olio Nuovo olive oil. So delicious. Standouts were latkes and brisket with brussels sprouts. Out of this world unusual pistachio dessert. Very elevated meal. Nice surprise twist on what I thought would be more of a traditional dinner. Would return for a meal like this 10 times out of 10. I hope they continue with other Sunday night dinners.
