Adele’s restaurant in Nashville is a partnership among Ken Levitan and Howard Greenstone of Red Pebbles Hospitality. The restaurant features an open kitchen with a large fireplace grill, wood-burning oven, white quarter-sawn oak bar, chef’s counter, and heated outdoor dining patio with umbrellas. The menu at Adele’s focuses on seasonal, accessible comfort food sourced from local farms and purveyors. Wow! We went to the Mockingbird for Thanksgiving! This gave us many more things to be thankful for. Our server was a joy. He was friendly, engaging and attentive. The food was de-liscious! Pumpkin soup, kale salad with butternut squash and candied pecans to start. The turkey dinner was huge! With traditional sides of mashed potatoes, stuffing and green beans. We took a lot home. Of course. We left a little room for cake. The dining area reminded us of a 1940s style with music to match that vibe. We look forward to going back to try their regular menu. Ideally, summertime on the deck!

What a beautiful setting! The food was amazing and our waitress was attentive. However, the music in the restaurant was loud like club music. That’d be fine if it were downstairs at the bar but this elegant room should have had a different effect.

The 7 course tasting menu was excellent. Since it was a Monday night I got to sit at one of six seats overlooking the line. The chef plated, presented and described each course. It was a true delight.
