Went for Birthday Meal with wife and son . Previously booked. We felt welcomed and warmly expected. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed. The service was good humoured, polite and informative. The food was splendid particularly recommending the crab claw linguini, the twice baked soufflé and crab rarebit. All in all a very pleasant dining experience.

We had an excellent meal last night. My son had the ploughman's, huge. Excellent value for money. We come here a few times a year for birthdays etc, and I come with friends. The 2 courses for £22 is really good. Irs do nice to be able to bring the dog and the roaring fire was a bonus on a chilly, damp evening.

Outstanding scrumptious food, first-class friendly service and a lovely warm ambience. Perfect experience all round. Looking forward to visiting again soon. Many thanks!
