We have been going to Bar Dojo for years, and feel it is a hidden gem in Edmonds. The food is always fresh, flavorful and delicious. We had the crème brûlée for the first time last night, it was amazing. Don’t skip dessert, it’s worth it.

Truly lovely dining experience with friends. We have always had good food here, but the service has been spotty. This time the service was exceptional and consistent with he quality of the food and ambience of this historic venue. Our server’s suggestion of the specialty pork belly dish to share was a hit with everyone at the table. Her service was quick and well timed. She had a good sense of when to let us enjoy our drinks and appetizers and when to appear to take our order. We all enjoyed the sablefish which was wonderfully done in a unique presentation with cabbage. The room is a little noisy. The grounds and hotel are festively decorated for the holiday making it a nice place to celebrate the season with friends.

Happy hour until 6:00 pm. Tried four items and was very satiated.

We can't wait to come back next year! We had a 1:30pm reservation and arrived at about 1:10pm. There were no other families in line when we arrived, so we moved through the check in process very quickly. The only, literally, ONLY thing we had concerns about, was how they were calling families when the tables were ready. We were standing about two table lengths away and did not hear our name get called. We checked about 15-20 minutes after our reservation time, and rather than checking for us, they crossed us off their list and said they couldn't find us. This seems pretty illogical since we paid upon arrival - why would we just leave? The experience overall was very engaging, but next year, maybe work on this one aspect (have a specific are where you want families to wait or something!) and it would be perfect! Our kids, my mom, my family - everyone loved it. Thank you for a fantastic experience! All of the family/kid oriented activities really helped our kids enjoy the experience as much as we did.

Red Lion managed the crowds pretty well; they had tables set up banquet style so that smaller parties were seated together at communal tables. We were seated immediately upon arrival which was close to our reservation time. The food was plentiful, everything you could want for a Thanksgiving banquet. My only complaint was that the food wasn't quite hot enough. I kind of wished there was a microwave around so I could stick my plate in there for 90 seconds. Otherwise the food was of good quality, it was delicious, and there lots from which to choose. They also had breakfast food, in case you preferred that to the standard fare, or in case you wanted to have both as my husband did. The staff was cheerful and attentive. I'd come back here again next year.
