Still my favorite eats in Sac. Valentine’s meal was amazing. My wife and I will always return and bring friends and visitors because we trust Canon. My only request is please get some non alcohol beer. Literally the biggest trend in food and beverage right now, everyone has great ones… and $8 bitter sodas are just not where it’s at. Normalize more non alcohol options!

We arrived for our reservations about 8 minutes early and we were seated right away. The waiter, David, was very attentive and efficient. The food was fabulous and not over priced. Only complaint is our table was right next to the kitchen area so it was a tad noisy hearing them call out and prepare the orders. We will definitely visit the restaurant again but request a different seating area.

It was the perfect Valentines Day experience! A beautiful atmosphere, and they even had a small gift box at each place setting with a heart shaped macaron and fruit candy inside, wrapped with a red bow 🎁 The 3 course meal plus amuse-bouche was delightful. Every dish was creative, elegant and delicious. The manager even took a photo of us and printed a 4x6 photo for us to take home and remember the evening. Would highly recommend for a special occasion.

Everything was great, the cozy warm patio for people who want out door dining, food was good and the hot water with lemon was great for cold night, but just one thing. We wish there was a waitressing training for what is the right distance talking to customers. Some were doing right not too close but some got too close to our face and to our food. Health concerns one shouldn’t talk too close or above to the food.

We went in for my birthday dinner and had an excellent dinning experience. Our server was attentive and friendly and the food was tasty. I highly recommend Market Tavern for a great meal. Only critique would be that it can get a little noisy but overall a great place for dinner.
