Next Door is the sister restaurant of Margaret, which, quite literally, sits next door to it at the corner of Bay St and Guilfoyle Avenue. Featuring a rolling 12-hour lunch-to-dinner menu, the bar brings you a selection of specially curated small plates such as Woodfire Grilled Peppers, Cherry Tomatoes with Oregano, Braised Zucchini with Mint, Chilli and Pecorino, as well as an amazing selection of Consorcio, Cuca, Pollastrini, Ortiz and Real Conversas tins with some freshly baked sourdough from Baker Bleu. Booked outside at Next Door. Being outside there is no problem with too much noise. We were seated as we arrived and our overseas guests arrived shortly afterwards. The staff were great and as always we enjoyed the food I ordered. We had shared entrees and we ordered mains.

Wonderful location to dine at. Overlooking the waters out at Bondi. Got to see a glimpse of the Sydney to Hobart yacht race in the distance. We were initially seated at a table of two which faced each other near the pathway but were then moved to a comfortable position which looked straight out into the water. The interior was cool in comparison to the hot outdoors and windows were left open where a gentle sea breeze that drafted through felt refreshing. Amongst the dishes, the octopus salad was certainly the most intriguing and had a delectable taste. No element of the dish overpowered the other and tastes all melted together with an octopus that was cooked extremely well so was not rubbery like overcooked molluscs. A little steep in terms of costs but a great dining location and was a lovely location for a date.

Bartiga was an absolute wonderful expirience I went for dinner with my family and we fell in love with the place. The best restaurant we have been to so far in Sydney the entrees were absolutely stunning and the service kept the same level. We were served by two italian waiters that were super nice Really recommend
