Located within Birmingham's Mailbox, Restaurant at The Woods is an immersive casual dining experience. Our unique setting offers standard, halal and vegan dishes, with a variety of wild and farmed ingredients. Our restaurant is designed to recreate the beauty of nature indoors. With changing seasons and scenery we have towering trees, forest foliage, waterfalls and all the sounds of nature.Our menu: We have many dishes, Standard, Halal and Vegan. Current Chef Director of Smoke- Hampton Manor and former head chef at The Wilderness, Stu emerged into the public eye upon winning the prestigious BBC Two’s Masterchef The Professionals in 2019 in which Marcus Wareing described his food as “daring”, and Monica Galetti called Deeley “the complete package”. His victory showcased not only his culinary skills but also his ability to create exceptional dishes under pressure. After working behind the scenes with the newly appointed Head Chef Patrick Hukins (previous Sous Chef of Smoke – Hampton Manor) to the kitchen team, brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to Laghi’s.     Having had the a la carte menu in the past we opted for the tasting menu, which was delicious and good value to money. Cocktails were very tasty and just the right amount to choose from. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough!

    Such a shame that Laghis is closing tonight, Hopefully the fantastic skills of the chefs and the front of house staff will be recognised and an opportunity arise for them to work together in another restaurant in Birmingham.

    What Harborne High Street needed! The chicken tenders are up there with the best we've had. The wings and loaded friends were lovely too. Washed it down with a lovely pint of Peroni and took an Oreo milkshake away which was delish! We had a few games of pool afterwards which was fun and this is why i say the High street needed something quirky/casual and fun with quality food. Brilliant place for groups to visit! We'll be back!
