Back Deck brings the outdoors inside with details like exterior carriage lighting and glazed brick in the dining room and an open kitchen that invites guests to watch the flame-licked fun. Back serves polished takes on cookout classics as well as dishes cooked over an open flame at homes across the globe. Artisan Bistro is a modern and inviting dining room dressed in rich dark and light woods with elegant European design elements. Accents of black, off-white, cognac, blues and warm grays echo a classic bistro look and feel. Crafted wood wainscoting throughout the room and soft ambient lighting from above highlight the white-washed, wood floors to further enhance the bistro-like setting. New stitched-leather booth seating lines the dramatic floor to ceiling wall of windows overlooking Avery Street and two high-top u-shaped booths frame the space on either end. Our server was amazing! Great vide! Just there for drinks before the show! When a mixed drink came to strong she immediately could see something was wrong on my first sip. Took it back to to rectify! 2nd one was perfect. Chatted with us and told us about karaoke, line dancing and drag brunch. Super bubbly and enjoying her job. Will definitely be back!

Great food and service, especially for a busy Saturday night. Very attentive and friendly wait staff. Food arrived quickly. Our table for 8 was even ready for us 10 minutes before our scheduled reservation. Short walk from the Boston Common. Will definitely dine here again!

The food is fantastic, couldn't ask for better. The only true issue is that is is a Very Severely small menu for dinner. MY wife wanted to ask them where were the Irish dishes starting with the obvious Corned Beef? I would recommend it.
