34 is Chef Emeril Lagasse’s first restaurant dedicated to the cuisine of his Portuguese heritage. He was inspired by his late mother, Hilda, who influenced his interest in cooking when he was a child growing up in Fall River, MA. The 245-seat restaurant is adorned in shades of green – Emeril’s signature color – wood accents and ornate Portuguese tiles. A painting of a rooster, a national Portuguese symbol of good luck, greets guests at the entrance. Everything was delicious. Ordered everything from shareable appetizers through dessert. Service was excellent and servers were attentive. Drinks were served quickly even when ordering impromptu wine when the meal arrived. Wine showed up in minutes so it could be enjoyed with the meal. It really was a perfect meal out with colleagues.

Host experience was wonderful, the decor and ambience of the restaurant is super cool! The food was truly outstanding!! I couldn’t stop eating. Our server Lily was fabulous! Even the runners that delivered the food were wonderful! Highly recommend and will definitely go back!

We really enjoyed our experience and the food was delicious. We had steaks cooked to perfection. The chef even accommodated us with a special request. I give it a 10 of 10.
