Located at Atherton Mill in Charlotte's historic South End neighborhood, Indaco (Italian for "indigo") serves Italian cuisine. Wood-fired pizzas, hand-crafted pastas, housemade salami and cured sausages fill the restaurant's menu which can be enjoyed family-style or a la carte. With an open kitchen, and a comfortable atmosphere, Indaco can seat approximately 85 guests inside for a casual night of food and drinks. So glad we decided to have Christmas Eve dinner at The Jimmy. Wasn’t sure what to expect on this holiday evening, but the restaurant was full with a lively, happy crowd, and the always-friendly staff were in good spirits. Perfectly cooked salmon with a soft, moist interior and crispy skin outside. Nicely charred pizza with mushrooms and arugula. And a winning Sangiovese to wash it all down. What else do you need ?

The ambulance, filet and service were fantastic but the salmon was over cooked and no flavor. I would not order again it was very disappointing.

The food was incredible and the personnel were so attentive. Great cocktails too and the price was reasonable. The only thing I would change: food portions… otherwise, no complaints. Will be back for another excellent experience!

Staff was great. Truly great. The rooms are a little loud when multiple tables are set. The outside area looked very nice. The appetizers and salads were extremely good. We ordered the shrimp and grits and the burger with fries. The shrimp and grits were OK at best. We only ate half of the burgers. The fries were on point.
