Char Bar 7 in Greensboro serves burgers, steaks and cocktails with an emphasis on comfort food. There are a number of wide-screen TVs around the bar and restaurant to catch the game. It's part of a mini-chain of upscale sports bars in the area. Starters at Char Bar 7 include fried pickles, chili, buffalo chicken dip, blackened chicken nachos and chicken fingers. Get salads such as Caesar, grilled shrimp, salmon or sirloin salad. You can build your own salads there with many types of meats, cheeses, veggies, dressing, nuts and fruits. Chef Ford Fry and Chef Kevin Maxey, together designed a “Mex-Tex” menu that plays to their own Texan roots, tracing the beginnings of the cuisine to the 1930s, when Mexican cooks first doctored up their dishes to suit a “Gringo” palate with Americanized elements, giving birth to the Tex-Mex dialogue. “Kevin and I wanted to do food we like to eat,” Fry said. “It’s natural for a chef to want to be true to a certain culture, and likewise, we wanted to do authentic Tex-Mex, because it developed where we’re from.”

    Superica Matthews location, Strawberry Hill has excellent food and pleasant ambiance. Most of the time service is excellent. On a recent very busy Friday evening we had a somewhat surly server but this is not the usual. Superica continues to be one of my go to Mexican favorites, their rice, beans, chips and salsas are always tasty and consistent. We enjoyed the projected music videos and also the music generally. Kids liked the Elvis pinball machine . Just a cool place with great traditional and house specialties. Try the chile relleno for a special treat. 5 stars

    I've been to the Rooster's in SouthPark and was excited to try their new location at The Bowl, they did not disappoint! The service was incredible and the location itself is gorgeous. The only issue we had was my boyfriend's steak was a little over cooked but everything else we had was absolutely delicious! Our favorites were the mac and cheese, tomato soup, hanger steak, and the coconut cake. We will absolutely be back again!
