Parties of this size are required to participate in a $75 per person family style prix fixe menu, drinks are charged based on consumption and a 20% gratuity will be added to the final bill. Opening its doors in 1952, Club Lago has anchored the corner of Superior and Orleans since before the neighborhood River North grew up around it.     Elina’s is always amazing! However towards the end of our meal we ended up having a ton of food left and they took it back to wrap it up for us and never gave it back. We had 2 days worth of food in there 😂. Oh well! Anyways, great meal. Will be returning of course.

    Every bite was outstanding! Portions are small - plan to order 2 plates per person or more. But, quality is absolutely excellent. Some of the best bites of the year for me!

    Club Lago is a wonderful "neighborhood "restaurant, with a homey vibe and great food. The service was excellent, attentive, friendly. All 10 of us were delighted with our meals. And the lunch prices were excellent (especially compared with other River North restaurants) Highly recommended.

    Had a great experience backed by solid service (a server we had before, I believe her name was Visjna? She was fantastic) and hospitable management team who went out of their way to customized a menu header for my guests birthday. Consistent dishes as always. The special however (short rib mushroom sugo) I would recommend adding more salt. Being a fat-rich dish, the meat and sauce screamed for salt. The only callout I would point to is the underhanded 3.5% service charge on the check which instead of adding that towards the end, the restaurant should really just work this into their menu pricing.
