The restaurant has a long and storied history, beginning in 1946 when David's great-grandfather bought a bar with a small kitchen and began making pizzas - the first ever in Dallas. The service, ambience and food were all exquisite. My wife and I were 15 minutes late and they were able to accommodate us. Upon arrival we were greeted with friendly smiles and promptly seated. Our server was knowledgeable and down to earth. Speed of service relating to the food was adequate for the time of year (Valentines day weekend). Overall, we had a great time and will come back.

Service was quick, courteous and stayed aware of our timing to get to a show at the Majestic down the street. The food, as always, was great - the artichoke appetizer is delish!
