Portland's Oven and Shaker is a popular dining destination for locals and visitors who crave artisan pizzas and unique bar drinks served in a warm and inviting setting. The nettle pesto arancino rice ball made with parmesan risotto and mushrooms and the fried calamari and octopus fritto misto with lemon and honey make stunning starters. Bar Dolly, a new wine and cocktail destination from the Sesame Collective Restaurant Group, serves as a companion bar to next door sister southern Italian restaurant Dolly Olive. Bar Dolly offers anextensive collection of Mediterranean wines, and regional dishes. The spritz menu includes Italian classics like Aperol spritzes and Bicicletas and the house Negroni is an instant classic, poured tableside. Bar Dolly shares a kitchen with Dolly Olive, which centers around Southern Mediterranean ingredients and flavors, with an emphasis on an in house bakery program, fresh made pastas and other dishes that are treated simply and presented elegantly.     Great food and really nice service - went for our anniversary, staff were able to move us from the counter to a table and also sent us home with some cookies to help make our anniversary celebration more special. Definitely recommend!

    The olives and the focaccia were delicious. Overall, the mains were average with the meatballs being the standout. The the others had too much going on with thick sauces. Portions were small, but not miniscule. Dessert was outstanding. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was pleasant. The space was smallish, but the mix of bar, tables, railing and booths worked well. Overall a decent experience, but I wouldn't go back.

    We had reservations and were sat immediately. Lackluster service; not horrible, but not attentive. The menu choices, appys, salads, and pizzas were quite delicious and well made. Not excessively noisy, overall a pleasant noise level. The restaurant has nice lighting and a warm feel. Not inexpensive; however, reasonably priced considering what we got for the money. We would return.

    We did the Sippin Santa event here and it was a 1000/10 experience. The decor, the drinks, the ambiance all absolute perfection wouldn't change a thing. Our server was also very attentive which we appreciated. Not too much in the way of veg/vegan food but we made do. We'd go again and again.
