Villa Barolo Ristorante and Wine Bar features creative Italian-inspired dishes using the fresh seafood and game meats. It offers at least four different organic specialties a day. Try its pan seared foie gras with grilled Portobello mushrooms and Belgium endive, its pheasant breast that is lightly seasoned and pan roasted and served with roasted chipollini and mushrooms, or a combination of caribou and lamb chops marinated with fresh garlic and rosemary drizzled with a honey rosemary demi-glaze. It was a very busy Friday between Christmas and New Year’s, and we were thankful for Open Table and having made reservations! The mild weather brought everyone out to Peddler’s Village and all shops were crowded. The next best part was they didn’t run out of the favorite foods so we could get the specials plus anything else. We always enjoy the food and atmosphere here.

Wonderful late lunch before exploring the beauty of the area. Delicious burgers but mine was way over medium. Everyone said theirs were perfect. Fries somewhat dry and not very warm, but my wife’s sweet potato fries were delicious. Very enjoyable.

We ate in the the board area. TVs around which we enjoy. 5 of ate. All enjoyed meals and drinks. Service is superior. Food is very good.
