The Charles Heath Quartet was amazing! The food and drinks were very good and the service was outstanding- attentive and friendly.

PERILLA Steakhouse delivers a refined and flavorful dining experience with a focus on high-quality ingredients and well-executed dishes. Starting off, the cold tasting plate was fresh and delicious, setting the tone for the meal with a balance of flavors and textures. It was a great way to begin, especially for those who appreciate lighter, well-prepared starters. For the main course, the Wagyu steakhouse set stood out as a highlight. The steak was cooked to perfection, showcasing the rich marbling and deep umami flavor that Wagyu is known for. The accompanying sides complemented the dish well, rounding out the experience. The roasted bone marrow set was good, but the toast served alongside was soaked with butter, making it a bit too heavy when paired with the already rich bone marrow. A simple grilled sourdough bread would have been a better choice, allowing the marrow’s natural flavors to shine without being overly fatty.

was on point—great ambience that made the whole experience even better. I went for the tuna tataki and the angry tuna roll, and both were insanely good—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. My pisco cocktail hit just the right balance, and those churros? Absolutely delicious! Godwin, who was beyond attentive and made sure everything was perfect. The manager, Gerardo, was also super welcoming. 10/10

Even if you only experience this winter outdoor dining only once in your lifetime, you should! It is beautiful outside surrounded by the downtown Chicago skyline! You stay warm and cozy long enough to enjoy a meal and drinks. It’s a wonderfully unique experience!
