We had a wonderful dinner to celebrate a friend's 80th Birthday. Everyone enjoyed their meals very much and said they would visit the Clare Castle again - a hidden gem! A big shout out to the staff who were extremely helpful and always smiling - nothing was too much trouble. If you haven't visited Clare Castle - you should - I highly recommend the garlic prawns!

Hopheads has a great range of beers both on tap and in cans / bottles. Caters for both alcoholic and non alcoholic as well as those who prefer wine or cocktails. You have a range of food options at the Point Cook one from Korean, Indian and Hotpot as well as an IGA. Hopheads themselves don’t serve food but are very happy for you to get food at one of those venues and have it there. Seating indoors or outdoors on a closed area with heaps of room for kids to run around / playground nearby. Can’t ask for much more than that and can’t recommend it highly enough!

We had an enjoyable couple of hours listening to the live music while trying some different stouts. Bringing our own snacks was a great option.

The service was very good, staff were friendly and quickly cleared plates from tables. The food was good but for dinner I expected a little more variety. Dessert was very good. The feel of the diner was warm and inviting, I love the new look!
