Sammie’s is a little taste of old Italy in downtown Austin. It celebrates the great ‘red sauce’ institution—inspired by old school, legendary Italian-American restaurants. Server was proactive, attentive without being overly so, and the view was very enjoyable. Got slightly loud when the doors to the exterior came down, but nothing unusual for a Saturday night. Busy without being too crowded. Staff was pleasant from start to finish.
