Located at Atherton Mill in Charlotte's historic South End neighborhood, Indaco (Italian for "indigo") serves Italian cuisine. Wood-fired pizzas, hand-crafted pastas, housemade salami and cured sausages fill the restaurant's menu which can be enjoyed family-style or a la carte. With an open kitchen, and a comfortable atmosphere, Indaco can seat approximately 85 guests inside for a casual night of food and drinks. The wine list is focused on affordable Italian varietals, the Gin & Tonic cocktail is on tap, and the fresh sodas are made in-house. Large windows fill the restaurant with natural light that reflects off the white subway tile, wood accents and butcher block tables. Simply can’t beat this deal. Food was great and so was the service. My wife and I have been twice and each the the service was excellent. I’ve told friends and family about their Groupon deal and they jumped on it. I’m now a spokesman. Looking forward to the next time to try something different even though the steak was so good.

We typically go to dinner at Rooster’s prior to a Bluementhal show. The experience is mostly always good, with the exception of a couple of hiccups. Hiccups are usually addressed by management, so we continue to support. I would recommend Rooster’s for the good food, convenience and ambience.

They just opened for lunch during weekdays and was our first visit for lunch (been there for dinner a few times). Great experience. Had a pizza and a salad to share with my wife. Prices feel a tad high, especially for the salad during lunch, but you get quality food and service (you want cheap counter service, go to Fuel or Inizzio). Great additional option in SouthEnd for lunch.

We ordered the agnolotti ! It was French onion on the menu. It was delicious! It was like a French onion soup deconstructed!! I had the salad for my meal and it was delicious and my husband had the poke bowl which he said was fantastic! All in all it was a delicious meal!
