Inspired by the pubs I fell in love with on my various travels, this re-interpretation of the neighborhood Public House represents an eclectic and updated take on the traditional pub. Belmonte’s Ristorante crafts fine Italian cuisine in its elegant and charming eatery, located in the seaside resort town of Asbury Park. For starters, the portabella mushrooms stuffed with eggplant, spinach and mozzarella and the battered artichoke hearts Francese make excellent choices. If pasta is what you are craving, Belmonte’s Ristorante has many delightful choices, such as the potato gnocchi in a meaty Bolognese sauce, the shrimp pappardelle Roma with mushrooms and asparagus and the fettuccini Frankie with crumbled sausage, escarole and beans. Some of Belmonte’s Ristorante other specialty entrées include the chicken Philadelphia sautéed with shallots, mushrooms and green peppercorns, the filet mignon in sherry wine sauce and the prosciutto and mozzarella stuffed pork chops in a madeira sauce.     Wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner! The team working the greenhouse was top notch and the food was delicious. Holiday nights in restaurants always have a potential for being a wreck and this was the complete opposite experience - everything was perfect. Oh and if you like a Sazerac, this is the bar to get it at!!

    Great service, innovative food and creative drinks. Went for a prix fixe valentine day dinner and look forward to going back and having full menu to choose from.

    We went to celebrate our daughters birthday. Our server Jesse, was outstanding. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and made great suggestions. The restaurant is nicely decorated! The food was excellent. I had the lamb shank special over risotto and the lamb was so tender and flavorful. My wife and one daughter got the skirt steak with orzo. The steak was cooked perfectly and the orzo was delicious. My other daughter had a fantastic burger. The crispy burrata was so delicious. My only complaint would be you only get one for $16. Highly recommend AP Rooftop!!
