The Pony Room was the perfect spot to celebrate friendship and gratitude. As two happily married couples, we honored the husbands’ 45+ years of friendship with incredible food, creative cocktails, and live music that set the perfect mood. We usually sit on the patio, which we absolutely love, but this time we decided to sit inside for a change. It was just as charming and cozy, offering a wonderful ambiance. We brought friends along this time, and they were equally impressed. One of the highlights of this bistro is its specials—they’re not just good; they’re exceptional! In fact, we’ve found that the specials often outshine the regular menu, which is saying a lot. The lamb special was cooked to perfection, and the black cod was absolutely divine. To top it all off, the service was impeccable, as always. The staff is attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in making your dining experience memorable. Rancho Santa Fe Bistro continues to be one of our go-to spots for a perfect meal. Highly recommend!

The food and the service here is above and beyond excellent. A bit pricey, as is everywhere else. Our only discomfort was the noise level - it was difficult to carry on a conversation. But this is one of our favorite go-to places and so will return - and highly recommend it!

I love the big dining room upstairs where I can look out to the ocean. Also, I used the ramp at the back for the first time because, at 85, the stairs are getting treacherous for me. I love Ki's!
