Located in the heart of fashionable Saratoga, it has been owned and operated by the Masek family almost four decades! We believe wine is better with food & food is better with wine. A perfect pairing is an experience everyone should enjoy..often. Our unique approach to food and wine means we are "wine first". We first curate the wine list which includes 65+ wines by the glass and then design a food menu that specifically complements the wine. The kitchen is led by Executive Chef Julian Silvera who spent his early culinary career in restaurants in his native NYC. He then took his talents to Florida's Knife and Spoon, where he helped garner a coveted Michelin star. Chef Julian is passionate about sourcing hyperlocal ingredients & has a strong focus on sustainability. Our service team includes ten sommeliers and is proud to offer guests more than 700 wines by the bottle. We are a casually elegant wine bistro open Tues-Sat 5PM to 10PM. The Champagne Bar is open daily noon-10PM. Children are welcome on the patio. The Wine Bistro and Champagne Bar seats adults only. Live Music Nightly.

    We were early for our reservation and as soon as we walked in we were helped by the staff, I do appreciate the time they take to check on their guests, and if they need anything else. The crab cakes were off the hook! And our lasagna dish as well as the fettuccine we had was delicious. Not to mention their bread! Super fresh, soft and yummy!!! Thank you

    Absolutely the best dining experience we’ve had in years. The Chefs tasting menu is amazing! If you love food and wine and great dining experiences we highly recommend this place. The service is top notch. The chef is highly talented and very personable. We love the live music and the atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back!

    The wait staff is helpful, professional, and friendly! Also very knowledgeable about all the items on the menu... If you love pour over coffee, they have delicious flavors, as well as seasonal favorites like peppermint mocha... The food is incredibly mouthwatering delicious and has upscale twists on some Hawaiian faves like Loco Moco and Mochi French Toast....sooo incredibly yummy. Absolutely worth the money! Don't miss it if you're in Los Gatos

    Had a wonderful and delicious dinner last evening. Greeted by Ben when the doors opened and our wait staff person was Sasa! Ordered Hemingway and Pinot Noir - both very good. Had the Lobster Vol-au-Vent and Wagyu Filet Mignon, French Onion Soup and the Fennel dusted Lamb Chops - all so outstanding and delicious. Very nice way to end 2024!

    It was a pleasure to have Christmas Eve dinner at La Mere Michelle. We appreciated the warm, friendly, welcome when we arrived. The French Onion Soup was delicious, complete with a thick layer of cheese. The Chicken Tarragon entree was the best I've ever had with a Tarragon reduction that was divine. My family member ordered the Chicken Forestiere with wild mushroom cream, also delicious. Both entrees had plenty of sauce unlike some restaurants that only provide a few tablespoons, were served with green beans and scalloped potatoes, and were pleasantly filling. We didn't leave hungry. A slice of chocolate hazelnut cake with excellent flavor finished the meal.
