Lunch at Frankie Bones is about signature sandwiches, homemade soups, fresh seafood, crisp flatbreads, entrée salads, and premium pasta dishes. Always fresh and always fabulous! Gusto Ristorante is a Northern Italian restaurant with a touch of the South at the Sea Turtle Marketplace in Hilton Head Island.The executive chef and owner Giancarlo Balestra with his wife Nancy bring the vibrant flavors of his native hometown of Rome, Italy to Hilton Head. The couple who met in Rome 28 years ago discovered their shared passion for food and adventure and have since owned and operated restaurants in Aspen, Co, Winter Park, Fla and Saratoga Springs, NY. They fell in love with Hilton Head and decided to jump into this new exciting culinary adventure, hence the name Gusto, which means flavor and taste in Italian but also means a zest and enthusiasm for a delicious taste of life. The restaurant has a full bar, extensive wine list.

LagerHead is not your typical tavern; Chef Michael Toscano, a James Beard “Rising Star Chef” Semi-Finalist, inspires the dining experience at LagerHead Tavern. The name and décor for LagerHead were inspired by the indigenous Loggerhead Sea Turtle and the natural beauty of Hilton Head Island. Developed by Chef Toscano, the menu showcases southern comfort food with a twist, using fresh, regional ingredients and features signature items such as our House-Smoked Chicken Wings and the Low Country Reuben featuring in house pulled pork and smoked ham. The Grilled Salmon Salad is completely unique in that we use fresh grilled salmon that we prepare every morning. Fresh Grilled Oysters are also a Lagerhead Staple, shucked fresh per order and prepared using garlic butter and breadcrumbs for an oyster packed full of low country flavor!!

    Gusto never disappoints! I would absolutely recommend this spot for Christmas Eve service again and again. Abby was our server and she was incredibly personable and attentive. Each course was timed well and we never went long without a check in for drinks or anything we might need. The food was all fresh and flavorful and the portions were enough to take leftovers if that’s your thing! We are repeat customers and we will definitely be back.

    We brought friends that missed out last Christmas when we brought a large group. They LOVED everything, as did we. It always feels like a meal cooked with love and attention. Giovanni, our waiter, was spot on all night and truly spoiled us. From the minute we were greeted as we walked in to sadly when we had to leave everything was impeccable. I’m thinking this is becoming an Annual tradition for us. 🥰

    Christmas Eve dinner. We had a reservation and were immediately seated. The restaurant has a nice vibe. Fancy without being stuffy. We were sat in the main dining room which has water front views. Our waiter (I believe he said Kumar but my hearing is not good) was excellent. The food was really good. We started with honey lime shrimp & a bottle of wine Husband had flounder with a spicey vinaigrette with risotto and vegetables and I had the salmon Rockefeller with mash and asparagus. We both loved the meals we chose. Finished with Hummingbird cake (YUM!) and coffee. We enjoyed every aspect of our experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.

    Butternut Squash Salad a definite must have. Have also enjoyed their Delicious Ribs as well as Burgers. Service is exceptional. Great ambience to meet friends for Lunch, views of the Golf Course. When weather permits great outdoor dining as well.
