Rengaya has been serving YAKINIKU in North Sydney since 1993, making it one of Australia’s pioneering Japanese barbeque restaurants. Now, that tradition is set to continue at its new digs on Miller Street – just a short stroll from the original location – in a much more modern, striking setting. The new fit-out features bar-counter seats around an open kitchen, red booth seating divided by Japanese-style timber panelling and a hard-to-miss chandelier. There’s also a 20-seat private dining room. We use only the finest ingredients such as Japanese Black Cattle made in Australia for beef, Sashimi and Seafood fresh from the sea. Rengaya is the restaurant foodies around the country have chosen.

Next Door is the sister restaurant of Margaret, which, quite literally, sits next door to it at the corner of Bay St and Guilfoyle Avenue. Featuring a rolling 12-hour lunch-to-dinner menu, the bar brings you a selection of specially curated small plates such as Woodfire Grilled Peppers, Cherry Tomatoes with Oregano, Braised Zucchini with Mint, Chilli and Pecorino, as well as an amazing selection of Consorcio, Cuca, Pollastrini, Ortiz and Real Conversas tins with some freshly baked sourdough from Baker Bleu.     Food was great, we ordered alot of skewers must order signatures. Also ordered a gyoza noodle soup made with tonkatsu very rich. Overall food is great. Skewers range from $7-10. But it takes a while for the food to come. Took us 1.5hrs to have all the food served. Tried lemon chu hi can't taste the alcohol. Also had lemon soda very lemony

    The customer service was excellent – the staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. The selection of food was impressive, with so many options to choose from, ensuring there’s something for everyone. Highly recommend for a great meal and top-notch service!

    Casa Mia Osteria is fantastic. It has a neighbourhood, family feel about it, with super friendly staff. Sean and his team were so welcoming and made as feel like we were at a family dinner. The food is fantastic, great considered menu - the spicy pepperoni pizza and the ragu pasta were hits! The prawn pasta has a good amount of heat and rich flavour. All of the dishes were excellent. Solid cocktails, reasonable prices and all round good vibes. Perfect for groups as the atmosphere is lively.
