Upon arrival you will notice an inviting outdoor dining patio that expresses traditional Grecian elements while maintaining contemporary detail. The newest addition to the Restaurant Collection at SIMON Roosevelt Field mall, Nomiya — which translates to ‘saloon’ — stands as the area’s first izakaya. Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of minimalism, the interior of Nomiya is split between a hickory-accented bar and windowed dining room framed by black granite walls. Guests can pair their meal with one of the eleven premium bottles of sake listed on the menu, such as the unfiltered, cream-colored Yuki Tora Snow Tiger nigori or bright, effervescent Uka Junmai Daiginjo; or opt for a refreshing cocktail made with soju – the national drink of Korea which is commonly distilled from potato. Also available are housemade sodas flavored with either lychee, yuzu, or mandarin, and imported wine and beer selections.

    The service is always impeccable! Everyone is very friendly, attentive and personable . The food is delicious, you will not be disappointed what so ever. The portions size are more than enough and food comes out nice and hot. The igloos are absolutely such a nice experience. The igloos are nicely decorated and are tempered controlled.

    Wonderful service; we had crispy Brussel sprouts and Fuji Apples and delicata squash with prosciutto as appetizers. They were prepared and presented beautifully. Excellent burgers, and chicken paillard with little gem Caesar was wonderful as well.

    It's always a pleasure to walk into FandoQ and enjoy the nice atmosphere with a smile!! The proprietor Ray is so very kind and full of energy!! The menu is full of surprises for all!! I love coming and bringing my friends here for the 1st or 2nd time around. The food is so delicious, and the prices are spot on!! The Persian music is soothing to my ears!! This is the place where you can have a great conversation with your partner or group!! I recommend FandoQ to all!
