At The Matheson's third floor, adventurous cocktails are crafted from innovative spirits and seasonal fruits, flowers, and herbs. The Mugnaini wood-fired oven kindles small plates that spark the palate (and conversations). Outdoor, open-air seating amidst planters and fire-pits elevate our buzzing garden perch. I’m local and I am totally spoiled by the amazing food and wine scene in Sonoma County. It had been 6 months since I’d been here and so glad I returned! This is The Best Sonoma County Rooftop Experience! From the ambiance, to the service and food- beat value in Sonoma county! We went on a chilly January evening and sat on the rooftop, cozy bench with pillows, fire tables all around, amazing food and service! Can’t wait to go back.

We have dined at Rooftop, Sushi by Scratch and the bar. First time in the dining room with friends visiting from Liverpool. Great sharing menu with tasty creative dishes, great service by Yvette, and fun wine wall tasting.

We'll be sad to see this place go! We asked why the limited Menu today, and only as of 11am and the servers told us they're closing River Vine down in 2 weeks after the actual John Ash restaurant is done with construction updates. The full menu supposedly will return then, and I sure hope there will be a Patio again too - walked by the back and it looks like there will be. River Vine has awesome servers and upon asking they said they're safe, will be transferring to JA.
