Established mainly as a pizzeria in the State Street section of Bristol, the restaurant quickly gained a local following and served as a popular lunch destination for workers and families alike. Leo and Virginia, along with sons Mario and Reno, worked tirelessly to produce great fresh Italian favorites and create a friendly environment for their customers.The original Leo’s remained open until 1976 when the family decided to close after Leo passes away, and in the year 2000 Leo’s grandson, Paul Mancieri, relocated to 365 Hope Street in the heart of historic downtown Bristol. The restaurants ambience is superb, wait staff was excellent and I ordered prime rib which was absolutely one of the best I have ever had.

Salmon quinoa bowl delicious. While it had some greens, would have liked a bit more (I like a green serving nightly). Husband liked lamb burger - suggest options for other rolls besides brioche as brioche contains milk (not good for those with allergy). He got pita instead but couldn’t eat as sandwich given plating. Other party took home half of fish given size! Really good food and service all around.
