Stray Dog is a comfortable yet fun take on your traditional bar and grill in Nordeast Minneapolis. Fantastic burger styles with hand-cut fries or tater tots. Stray Dog is open Monday-Thursday from 11am to 11pm for indoor dining and bar. Thursday has all day Happy Hour along with Trivia at 8pm. Late night eats until Midnight on Friday and Saturday. Amazing bloody mary and mimosa bar, almost a meal in themselves! We were celebrating a birthday, which got us a free photo booth token and dessert to share. I didn't realize how big this place is! We were seated in the quieter dining side, but the live music playing in the other area wasn't too loud. Looks like a nice happy hour, too, so we'll have to return soon for that!

Most lobby restaurants are not the greatest experience. The Milwaukee, however, was a pleasant surprise. From a gracious hostess to a joyful waitress, to a very, very good meal for the four of us. The only food negative was a relatively bland dressing on the Caesar salad. T”My pappardelle was outstanding and the others felt the risotto, burger and salmon were very fine.
