Had a great Christmas dinner! We checked out the menu beforehand and thought we knew what we were going to order, but they didn't have the chicken dish on the menu. Waitress said they just switched over to a Winter Menu. So my son ordered the Steak, which he said was the best he ever had! I ordered the Stroganoff, which was delish and my husband ordered the Weiner Schnitzel which he said was great! Desserts were fabulous too! Definitely would recommend!

It was hard to find a last minute dinner reservation for Christmas Eve but the Fitz could accommodate. They are located on the complete opposite side of vail from where I was staying so I almost missed my reservation. It was about a 10 minute walk from central vail village. I imagine the location is the reason they don’t have more reviews. When I got there it was easy to find and I was welcomed by the staff. They checked me in for my reservation and brought us to a secondary dining room with a huge fireplace, Christmas music and picture windows of the mountain. The service was great and our waters were always topped off. The menu was fairly reasonable and diverse for Vail. I wanted to try several things but settled on a steak frites plate and it was a big piece and cooked pretty darn perfect. The fries were amazing too. I can see why they have such a high rating and I hope more people start to give them a try- it’s worth it

Food was amazing! The roasted chicken and salmon were super delicious. The green chili was spicy but so good, worth the heat. Would definitely repeat. Vinnie, our server was super friendly.

It was ok. Nothing out of the ordinary. The food was fine, not great. But I liked they didn’t have so many options so you can just make your choice fast. We were scheduled for the first reservation of the day, and they weren’t ready. The food took too long to come, and they put us close to the bathrooms (when the entire restaurant was empty), so it was not ideal.

Beautiful room, table size perfect for talking. Great service, wine list and menu.
