Bluestone is a Chicago-style restaurant in Evanston that offers homestyle cooking in a warm and welcoming environment. Owner John, whose obsession with golf led to the more than 250 pin flags decorating the restaurant, opened Bluestone after transitioning from commercial film production. We occasionally go to Wildfire in Glenview, Illinois. We have never had a bad experience there. The food is great, the service is great, there is no problem parking, we never wait when we get in, although we always make a reservation. Our most recent trip was for Thanksgiving and the meal was excellent. It is a must try restaurant for sure!
