Lido Restaurant at The Surf Club celebrates its place as the best oceanfront dining experience in the Miami Beaches. The Surf Club's once fabled ballroom, is now a destination for thoughtful Italian culinary; from crudos including Tonno al Tartufo Nero, made-in house pastas like Pacchero "alla Lido", to famed entrées like Branzino al Vapore.On Sundays we offer a Brunch Buffet experience with available seating on the Oceanfront Terrace or inside the Champagne Bar. For breakfast (daily) and lunch (served Monday through Saturday), seating is available on the Oceanfront Terrace or inside the Champagne Bar. For dinner service, we offer a 2 hour dining experience. We have a 15 minute grace period after which the table may be given to another guest. Please note Lido Restaurant at The Surf Club has a cancellation policy under 24 hours and a no-show policy of $50.00 per person. I enjoyed my Christmas dinner at Makoto. I was running a little late but when I arrived they were willing to sit me immediately. I had a reservation but wanted to sit at the bar. Antonio is amazing with customer service. When he wasn’t around the other bartender Michelle was checking in on me. Even when I appeared to need help, a Manager (Cindy) stopped and ask me did I need anything make my experience better. Happy Holidays!! I will be back to see them. Food: Crab baked Handroll - 10 out of 10! I had two. Chicken gyozas or potstickers (not sure) 9 out of 10 (I thought they would be fried) Rock Shrimp - 9 out of 10 (a dipping sauce will make them perfect) Chicken Ramen - 7 out of 10 (it’s good but somethings missing in the flavor) I’m just working my way through the menu but I will definitely be back. Again and Again!

Most of the staff is just lovely, the champagne opening at 6 PM is fun although we wish she had used a microphone so we could've heard every word. Bar is comfortable, not many vegan options sadly, we had to get the sushi roll every time we were there if we were hungry. Bartender Sergei is knowledgeable and knows how to make a good cocktail and modify .
