The Grain House Restaurant is located on the picturesque 10-acre estate of the Olde Mill Inn in Basking Ridge, NJ. The Grain House structure was originally built as a barn in the 1760’s and was used to store grain for American Revolutionary soldiers. The barn was later moved to its current location and opened as a restaurant in the 1930’s. Today, the Grain House is a renowned restaurant in North/Central New Jersey, with a comfortable, casual ambiance. This was our first time dining at The Pluckemin Inn and we were very impressed by the service, the wine list and of course the food! It was my husband’s birthday and the pastry chef gave us complementary truffles to celebrate. We will definitely be going back!

This was our first time at this restaurant. The food and service was excellent! The tuna was the best I ever had, and the swordfish special was delicious. We never felt rushed, and all enjoyed our meals. Albi was our server. He was terrific. We will be back!

We had a wonder first time at tap and bitter. It was a quiet Sunday but the staff checked in on us throughout our dinner. We always had water and didn’t feel rushed and they gave us time in between courses to relax and enjoy each other company
