The Chew Chew is celebrating 28 years of great food & hospitality in the heart of Riverside, IL directed by original Chef/Owner Scott Zimmer. Located one-mile east of Brookfield Zoo, 5 miles northwest of Midway Airport and 10 miles west of Downtown Chicago. There is a Metra Train stop on our block for safe & easy access in/out of the City. We feature a multi-level dining room, vibrant full-bar & a cozy outdoor patio May-October (weather permitting). Happy Hour daily 4-6pm with beer, wine & cocktail specials.     Maya Del Sol has absolutely become our most favorite restaurant. The food is interesting, delicious and always piping hot. The servers understand the need to be GF and know the menu well in that regard and I’m grateful that in addition to knowing the GF details alert the kitchen on my behalf. I love that there are different price points from $30 entrees to many options in the $20’s. All of the wait staff and bussers are friendly and attentive. They always check back in after the food has been served!

    Absolutely wonderful. The meal was incredibly delicious as were the raspberry martinis. They really made it a special Valentines Day dinner with rose petals and little red gems on the tables. We had the mixed greens salad with champagne vinaigrette and the hangar steak. For dessert I had the crème brûlée and my companion the chocolate mousse. Both were excellent. Highly recommend this neighborhood “gem”.
