Steps from Government Center and the Freedom Trail, an experience at Silver Dove includes a pot of tea and a curated selection of finger foods. The food is a set menu and fixed price consisting of a variety of finger sandwiches, savory canapés, cakes, scones, macarons and other pastries which rotate seasonally.We offer 90 minute reservations for afternoon tea Wednesday through Sunday. The food was excellent, even though there was an issue with our order, the manager came to see us and offered us dessert for the trouble, quick response and great service, will come again. The food was excellent. Good sized portions too.

Our server Kristian (Christian?) was attentive and professional, while also being personable. Only hiccup was we ordered oysters to have with our cocktails, and they came out with our appetizers. Unexpectedly, Kristian delivered a flute of champagne to us as we were at that point waiting on our bottle of red wine, for our dinner. That was a nice touch and a good save! The food was really outstanding. we had 2 filet entrees and one beef wellington in addition to apps and oysters. It was a great evening,
