The Folk’s Folly story began in 1977 with unconventional origins, as the best stories often do.Native son Humphrey Folk, Jr. was a prominent and shrewd developer, whose hard work carried him all over the country, cultivating his sincere appreciation of food and fine wine.Undaunted by a complete lack of restaurant or culinary experience, he decided to convert a quaint and intimate house into a small eatery. Due to Covid regulations and our assurance of social distancing, we have decided to incorporate, The Beauty Shop, our sister music club, Bar DKDC, our newest Back Dō Oasis Patio behind the Beauty Shop and our patio out front of the Beauty Shop. In addition to the two outdoor igloos, we also now have multiple greenhouses outside to assist in social distancing and outdoor eating even during cold or rainy weather.     I booked a reservation for a late Valentine’s Day celebration with my boyfriend, and we loved it so much! The restaurant is beautiful, and the views set a great dining backdrop. The shrimp and brie dip was incredible, and our cocktails were refreshing. He enjoyed the white wine cream sauce with his clams and pasta, and I loved the red pepper risotto that accompanied my trout. We will definitely be coming back!

    My wife and I went to Folk’s Folly for Valentine’s Day dinner. Everything was perfect. The service, food, ambiance and even the valet parking were amazing. If you want a fantastic meal with great service, you can’t go wrong with Folk’s Folly.

    Ja was our waiter and he was so kind and very attentive. It was Valentine’s Day and Char was busy, but we never felt neglected. The crab cakes were amazing as always… my steak entree was perfectly cooked. My husband’s duck was a little more rare than he wanted but we were pleased nonetheless. We will be back!
