The Derby is more than a restaurant. Established in 1922, it has been family owned and operated since 1951. It is a grand museum showcasing some of horse racing’s greatest moments. Diners are invited to take a break from the rush of modern life and travel back to the time of George Woolf, Seabiscuit, and relive the excitement of “The Race of the Century”. The food was outstanding. Service was excellent. It was quite loud however. It was hard to hear someone speak across the table. The views were lovely. Gorgeous decorations. Valet service was good as well.

What a beautiful restaurant and hotel! Our server, Rachel, was so sweet. The food was delicious! The restaurant didn't seem that busy, but it did take a bit longer than expected for the food to arrive. Otherwise, it was amazing! We will definitely go back!
