A Family Tradition For Over 90 YearsMrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant first opened in 1934 with Mrs. Knott and her children serving the first customers in their tea room. The restaurant has grown over the years into one of the largest in California, but the classic fried chicken dinner is still made the same way today using Mrs. Knott's recipes. Every complete chicken dinner includes handmade biscuits, side salad, choice of cabbage or cherry rhubarb, three pieces of fried chicken, and mashed potatoes smothered in gravy. For dessert: your choice of boysenberry pie or boysenberry sherbet. Many other dishes are also available including grilled chicken, salads, and a number of appetizers. A full-service bar, serving signature boysenberry-infused cocktails, is also available.Currently, we are following all government-issued regulations and seating is currently outside only. There is nothing quite like Summit House at Christmas time. The food was wonderful, service impeccable and the carolers made the evening perfect.

We had an amazing experience. The food was great, our server May was fantastic, and the Disney fireworks show at 9:30 pm was a cool bonus. Will definitely be back.

Great experience with a very professional and friendly food server! Food was excellent - Fillet and short ribs are highly recommended. The 10oz Fillet looked larger than 10oz which was a nice surprise! Food was all delivered to the table with serving domes keeping it all warm. They then had multiple food servers pull the domes simultaneously for a great presentation. Only area I was a bit less impressed with was the souffle dessert. Ordered the vanilla base with blueberry topping -- I think the chocolate would have been better! Our second time visiting this establishment and will definitely be going again for dinner!

SHOR was fantastic! The beef dumplings, chicken tikka masala, and lamb chops were all flavorful and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend!
