The considered drinks menu has something for everyone - be that a glass from the thoughtful, simple and eclectic wine list with 30 to choose from or a delicious signature cocktail. The accompanying food offering has been created to complement the drink selection. Located right by Clapham Common, Red Vine is a neighbourhood restaurant that celebrates Modern British food with a focus on wine. Only using local ingredients, owner Richard Herbert and Head Chef Julio Amado have created a delicious, seasonal British menu with a Mediterranean twist. Slow-cooked ox cheeks; deep-fried mussels served with aioli; and truffle tortelloni tossed in garlic butter all feature on the beautifully curated menu, which is divided into small plates and large plates. This is food that’s supposed to be lingered over. And with an uncomplicated wine list and creative cocktails, there are plenty of reasons to stay a little longer.The charming restaurant welcomes dogs and is beautifully decorated with colourful walls and original church pews. A conservatory in the back with stained glass windows and an enchanting garden will soon open for al fresco dining. In winter, customers will be able to enjoy cosy meals curled up in front of the log burner inside.

Scott’s is what you should expect, excellent service, high quality food. Expensive but that is fine when they deliver a high end dining experience. Would go back to Scott’s again.

Ce restaurant m’a été chaleureusement recommandé et nous n’avons pas été déçu. De l’accueil, à la fin du repas nous avons été ravis. Les plats étaient gourmands et copieux, les serveurs étaient juste top et la musique de fond, du Stevie Wonder à Creedence à Matt Simons…c’était parfait.

This place is pretty discreetly located, but once you know, it is super easy to find, and is literally next door / under the tube station. Lovely and atmospheric, well renovated, food was ample and well presented, as was the beer and the wine. London prices. We would go again.
