Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We had a fabulous meal. Food was delicious and waiter gave great advice as to what to eat. I highly recommend it. And they told us they’d overcharged us and we hadn’t checked. Very honest too! Can’t wait to go back.

I had the pleasure of dining at this incredible restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience. The risotto was simply exquisite, cooked to perfection with a creamy texture and rich, well-balanced flavors. The highlight, however, was the lobster — prepared with such skill and attention to detail that every bite was a delight. The freshness of the seafood and the artistry in the presentation truly set this dish apart. The service was impeccable, and the ambiance made the meal even more enjoyable. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience!

Beautiful restaurant in the heart of Covent Garden. Great decor and atmosphere- cosy and comfortable. Set lunch was very good and excellent value. It was very busy and thus initial service was a little slow, but otherwise excellent, and no pressure to finish/leave (our booking was 2.00pm). Would definitely return.
