A laid back country style pub with a stunning private dining room and honest cooking showcasing the best farms in the UK. The Albion is a Georgian gem left over from a time when Islington was fields and farmland, and where the regulars would take afternoon walks out of the city to visit us. We have a lovely garden which resembles places found in the South of France, with the wisteria blooming and the willow creating a nice and relaxed atmosphere. In the back of the garden there is an old barn which used to be a bar, and the rumour is that the Sex Pistols played their first concert in the barn. Inside, the log fires create a lovely atmosphere during the cold months, where you can wrap up and enjoy a drink or food both in our dining room and bar areas. We are frequented by regulars from our local area as well as their dogs. We happily provide both water and biscuits for visiting dogs and love to have them around.

The service was wonderful and the food came out wonderfully fast. Everything was delicious and we were really looked after. The staff were accommodating and friendly. The food was warm and not hot but it was delicious and we imagine that at such a busy time of day it was understandable. We went at 1:30pm on a Sunday at the end of Black Friday so London was quite busy. It was a great pub in a lovely quaint area and was very accessible by tube and I would definitely recommend it to somebody. We had the vegetarian roast, chicken and beef and the cauliflower cheese and they were all very tasty.

Excellent food and a really extensive wine list. Real ales also very good. Staff very helpful and are happy to guide you and offer tastings of beer and some wines. Relaxed atmosphere with tables being available for 2 hours. I’d highly recommend a visit. Booking advisable, it’s very popular!

Best ox hearts (anticuchos) I've eaten in a peruvian restaurant. And the lomo was superb with fantastic presentation. The drinks were dangerously delicious. And the service was without a doubt excellent. Would definitely come back next time I'm in London.
