Daffodil Mulligan is a wood fire and grill restaurant and late bar on City Road by Chef Richard Corrigan. The open plan restaurant brings the best of surf and turf cooked over wood and coal as well as options from our raw bar such as our signature dish, beef tartare with oyster cream. Beautiful restaurant in the heart of Covent Garden. Great decor and atmosphere- cosy and comfortable. Set lunch was very good and excellent value. It was very busy and thus initial service was a little slow, but otherwise excellent, and no pressure to finish/leave (our booking was 2.00pm). Would definitely return.

Fantastic food - relatively limited menu but prepared extremely well. Where do you see chops these days? Open late so perfect for post theatre dining and with the most helpful and friendly staff you'll encounter anywhere. Not the cheapest place to eat but still good value for the overall experience.

Loved this place, the staff are super friendly and attentive but not “in your face”. It is indeed a grand café, more of a grand brasserie. Can highly recommend the nibbles, beautifully served warm bread, hot padron peppers and superb iberico ham. Fab wines and really lovely mains. Even the espresso was spot on. Well done the Brush, we had a great birthday celebration for my husband. We didn’t try the cocktails but the mixologist was creating a range for staff training purposes and they looked amazing. Next time….
