The stunning restaurant, which is the first of its kind in Radnor, will transport guests to the Greek Islands with an atmosphere reminiscent of an inviting Mediterranean home, and a menu of authentic specialties, simply prepared, that represent the best of Greek cuisine. Since 1746, the building that houses this tavern has played a part in the establishment of our nation; first as a respite for stagecoach travelers expanding westward and later as a covert rendezvous point for George Washington, Marquis de Lafayette, and other leaders of the American revolution. It is believed that during the infamous winter of 1777–1778 at Valley Forge, a major figure in the Continental Army, master military mind Friedrich Von Steuben, designated the tavern as a secret black powder munitions stash for Continental Army couriers. All the while, the tavern continued to provide food, shelter and cheer to the hungry, weary soldiers fighting for their independence. Today, we honor our historic tavern’s tradition with a mission to raise the spirits of our guests. My wife and I went to the General Warren Inn to celebrate our anniversary. It was a busy evening there (good to see) and our service was reasonably good given the number of folks present. While our entrees were delicious, I have one small complaint…. The rolls we were served were cold and bore an amazing resemblance to what we buy off the shelf at the grocery. Truthfully I expect a bit more upscale in a white tablecloth restaurant. Otherwise, enjoyable.

I have been wanting to go to Cedar Hollow Inn for a long time and finally made it! What a wonderful experience from the ease of making the reservation, to the hosttess greeting to the phenomenal older waittress and the food was outstanding. I will go again, and again. Wish I went years ago :)

Great Oktoberfest! Chef and Manager have extensive German culinary and hospitality experience, so outstanding food selection and preparation. Curated beer (and, as usual, wine and cocktail/mocktail) options. We were regaled with flawless accordion music throughout, featuring polkas, waltzes, and German folk tunes. Please make this an annual tradition!
